It is an honor to serve as the Secretary General of ESSAB. I feel proud to be part of ESSAB, which is doing work in Bangladesh's safety and security sector.

On behalf of our newly elected committee, I want to extend our deepest thanks to our respected President, the outgoing Executive Committee, and every dedicated member of ESSAB. Your relentless hard work, specialized expertise, and collaborative spirit have elevated ESSAB into a strong, respected powerhouse in Bangladesh's safety and security landscape.

Here are our main goals:

  • Improving Industry Standards: We will. Enforce national standards for electronic safety devices. We will also make sure that these standards are followed.
  • Improving Professional Skills: ESSAB will offer training programs and certification courses. These will help our members gain skills in areas like AI and IoT security.
  • Promoting New Safety and Security Technologies: We will encourage the use of solutions like biometric systems and drone-based surveillance.

To achieve these goals we will work with government agencies, private sector leaders, academic institutions and global partners. These partnerships will help us share knowledge conduct research and create policies.

ESSAB is also committed to helping Bangladesh prepare for disasters. We will create a volunteer network of trained members and certified professionals. This network will provide support during disasters, like earthquakes, floods and fires.

To keep our organization strong we will focus on:

  • Being Transparent: We will share our information and governance details openly.
  • Engaging with Members: We will have town halls, feedback portals and mentorship programs.
  • Hosting Events: We will organize the annual Bangladesh Security Tech Expo and other events to showcase new technologies.

With unity and collective commitment we will achieve our goals. Let us work together to build a smarter and more secure Bangladesh.
